AT THIS TIME, HOPE PRISON MINISTRIES DOES NOT HELP INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES OR FAMILIES LOCATE PRIVATE HOUSING. WE HELP INDIVIDUALS RECENTLY RELEASED FROM PRISON FIND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING.
What is transitional housing? Simply put, it’s a place for someone to stay until they are able to obtain their own housing. This could range from a mat on a floor in a shelter, to a bed in a semi-private or private room. It could be a house owned by an individual who is willing to rent to convicted felons with or without other support to a structured program with rules and accountability with varying degrees of support. But transitional housing will almost always involve a group of unrelated people living together.
